Finance Manager

Job Description

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities within the organization, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role is essential for ensuring accurate bookkeeping, managing cash flow, monitoring financial performance against targets, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives. The Finance Manager will also liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.


Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
  • Prepare financial forecasts and track performance against budgetary goals.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.

    Accounting and Bookkeeping:
  • Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date financial records.

    Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Generate reports on financial performance, variance analysis, and key financial metrics.
  • Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

    Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  • Optimize working capital through effective management of receivables and payables.
  • Develop strategies to improve cash flow and reduce financial risks.

    Compliance and Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate and manage annual audits, liaising with external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.

    Stakeholder Liaison:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial institutions, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers and service providers as needed.

    Strategic Financial Planning:
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Support strategic projects and initiatives with financial analysis and insights.

  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in a similar industry or sector.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATION: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.                                                                                

SALARY OFFERED: 45k Depending on your Skill level
Office Location: Viman Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra.
Office Timings: 11:30 AM - 08: 30 PM (Mon - Fri)
